  • Richard T. Ray

    Chief Executive Officer
    Richard’s family purchased S & K Sales Co. in 1995, at which time he took on the role of Executive Vice President, and in 1998 moved to CEO and President. His extensive background in sales and marketing and key positions with Atlantic Dominion Distributors, S & K Sales Co.’s parent company, along with his time serving in the National Guard helped prepare him for the task of running this highly successful Military and Hawaii Retail Brokerage Firm. In December of 2015, he stepped down from the role of President but remains CEO.

    Richard currently serves on the Board of Directors at Atlantic Dominion Distributors and is an active member of the Armed Forces Marketing Council, where he has served as chairman.
  • Peter J. Murphy

    President
    Peter started with S & K Sales Co. in 1988 and has held various positions within the firm, beginning as a Territory Manager and working up to his current position of President, which he accepted in December of 2015. Peter’s extensive experience in this industry started at the age of 14 stocking shelves for his father, who also spent his career working in military resale.

    Peter is an active member of the American Logistics Association, where he has served two terms as Chairman of the Board of Directors, has been a member of the Commissary Council, and held positions on various sub committees. He is also currently serving as the treasurer of the Armed Forces Marketing Council.
  • Michael R. McHugh

    Vice President – Military
    Mike assumed the position of Vice President of Military for S & K Sales Co. on January 1st of 2019. Mike grew up in the military, worked for AAFES through his college years and has spent the most recent 35 years in various positions within the military resale community. He started with S & K Sales Co. in 1995 as Director of National Accounts responsible for the AAFES Exchanges and currently resides in the Dallas area.
  • Katherine M. Hines

    Vice Chairman
    In 2008 Katherine completed her Master’s from Darden Graduate School at the University of Virginia and went to work for Anheuser-Busch InBev as an Innovation Manager, knowing that it would lead her back to her family roots at Atlantic Dominion Distributors. As a shareholder, Katherine is truly invested in all three of the companies that make up the portfolio and holds the position of Vice Chairman for both Hoffman Beverage Company (since 2011) and S & K Sales Co. (since 2016). Through this role, Katherine has worked with S & K Sales Co. management team to provide insights into the sales and business processes, while also helping to communicate the overall company’s values, strategies and objectives.

    Katherine is an active member of the American Logistics Association (ALA).
  • Edward M. Voelker III

    Executive Consultant – International
    Ed’s experience with military resale began as a teenager, bagging and stocking in the Ramstein & Vogelweh Commissaries. Ed’s father retired from the U.S. Air Force, primarily in international assignments and Ed remained there and studied business management at the University of Maryland, Munich, Germany international campus. In 1990, he was given the opportunity to come to work for S & K Sales Co. as a Territory Manager, and quickly moved on to the Field Sales Manager position, In 2002, Ed began providing consultation services to S&K Sales Co specific to the logistical functions of the U.S. Military Resale Systems operating internationally.
